My name is Aaron (born 1985). My mum has submitted this because she is sure that I have ME, even though I don’t feel that I do. I live in Manchester, UK. I am married with three children.
I am mild to moderate affected. I am unable to work due to other health conditions and reasons, which I guess helps me to be able to pace myself. If I had to do a normal full time job I would be very ill within no time. If I overdo things, beyond my own capacity, I do get sick with ME like symptoms and it takes me days / weeks / even months to come back to my normal self. I also catch everything going and have plenty of payback for over exerting myself.
I have never been diagnosed with ME, but it has been mentioned once or twice by my GP. I do have plenty of weird ME like symptoms though. And more and more I am getting to be like my mum, who has severe ME. So, she could be right when she claims that she knows I have ME even if I don’t want it.
LoL … yes that’s what she’s says … you don’t get to choose to not have ME …
