Catch Up July 2022 …

Last month was an extremely difficult month health wise and on a personal level too. I will try and bring you up to date below in the ‘what’s new …’ section, but for now it’s suffice to say I am struggling more than ever …

Don’t forget whenever you see MiA … it means I have been unable to journal anything on that day due to serious illness or just because I was unable to do anything, except keep my head above water, on that particular day.

What’s New …

There are so many things that happened in June on the health side of things and because I felt so sick I was unable to update you, as it happened, in last month’s journal. In a nutshell I have some new and worrying health issues:

    • new pain in areas I didn’t know could hurt
    • chest pain being one of them … so off I innocently and naively went for an ECG, 100% sure it was all my ME, only to be told I have previously had a heart attack and I also have some right bundle branch issues … 😳 …
    • MCAS to all the medications the GP wants to try
    • more and more days where I am 100% incapacitated with new symptoms that I am unsure of what they are
    • I have had some intelligent liver tests (iLFTs)
    • I have been referred to the lipids clinic at our local hospital

There is much more, and I will add any to the above list as and when I can, but for now (17.07.2022) this is all I can find the energy to add.

How so much time has evaded me, I’ve no idea. But, it is now the end of the month and this month has been one illness or thing after another. I am also guessing that next month will be the same.

please forgive me but I am just simply too sick right now to keep on top of things …

What’s Important …

It is what it is …

Find a life worth enjoying; take risks; love deeply; have no regrets; and always, always have rebellious hope. And finally, check your poo – it could just save your life … – Deborah James aka BowelBabe

accept each day as you find yourself …

An Ask …

Could I please ask a favour please?

At present, I am struggling to keep updating my website. I know I have plenty of visitors by my stats but I have no idea if you’re finding any value or if you are enjoying reading my journal.

Below is a form called, ‘let us know what you think and help us do better …’, and could I ask if you could let me know if my journal is of any value while I try to determine if I should end or continue this part of my site. If you are a visitor who has ME/CFS and would struggle to write anything, a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’ would suffice.

Thank You in advance …

My birth name is Denise, but I’m know as Bella to those who love me. I have a first class honours degree in education & psychology and a strong passion to keep learning and educating others ... I have severe ME/CFS and lots of other chronic illnesses and I started this blog as an expansion to my instagram page, where I advocate for chronic illness. I am married and have two grown up boys, or should I say young men. I have three gorgeous grandchildren, one boy and two girls. And despite being chronically sick and housebound I am mostly happy. 🥰
