My Healing Journey 13.09.2022 …

Active Stabilisation Session (11) …

I pre-booked this session the minute we finished the Active Stabilisation Session (10) …, working it around the fact that I am not achieving anything and that I am needing more and more time to implement YFC_J’s suggestions.

I am still learning new information and new skills and ideas, even if I am 7am let out implement them. But, I am very eager to keep trying with this part of the programme.

Preparation & Setting Up …

As soon as the session was over I received the details for my next appointment. We are still sticking with landline telephone calls for now.

What’s New …

Since my last session with YFC_J I have been working hard on, firstly, me being able to gradually introduce a daily child dose of anti-histamine, then a month later adding a low dose beta blocker. accessing a low dose beta blocker.

They are all prescribed it is just about working with my body.

The slower the better.

During the break, since my last appointment with YFC_J much has changed and so accordingly my plan has had to change to accommodate this.

What’s Important …

I have some things I need to do. I need to set myself up with everything I might need downstairs for when my husband goes back to office based work.

Things I’d like to achieve during the next few weeks:

    • get beta blockers
    • get anti histamines
    • spend a complete month in bed

How / What Have I Been Doing Since My Last Session …

The above plans were thrown into a spin when my cholesterol and BP results came back. I have found myself with seriously high blood pressure.

I have had ECGs, kidney, diabetes, and other additional tests. Fortunately, on the whole the results from these tests are acceptable and my heart and kidneys don’t show signs of damage.

This means I can try the ‘pill free’ route to lower my BP because the tablets I was given had some unwanted nasty side effects.

Summary …

I have started a new multi-vitamin and multi-mineral routine, which focuses on my cholesterol and BP reduction. I am eating much healthier and much less. I have also started to stand up and take 250 steps, every hour, for ten hours of my waking day.

In a nutshell I’ve lost weight, I feel a bit better, but my BP is still very high.

My birth name is Denise, but I’m know as Bella to those who love me. I have a first class honours degree in education & psychology and a strong passion to keep learning and educating others ... I have severe ME/CFS and lots of other chronic illnesses and I started this blog as an expansion to my instagram page, where I advocate for chronic illness. I am married and have two grown up boys, or should I say young men. I have three gorgeous grandchildren, one boy and two girls. And despite being chronically sick and housebound I am mostly happy. 🥰
